Recycling
Recycle mobile phones
Have you had a shiny new mobile phone for Christmas?
Is your old one just lying in your bottom draw?
Why not recycle it and raise money for Leukaemia CARE?
For every mobile phone that is recycled, Leukaemia CARE will receive a minimum of £2 (this value varies depending on what make of mobile phone is being recycled.)
To receive a freepost recycling envelope please call the Fundraising Team on 0845 521 3456 or e-mail fundraising@leukaemiacare.org.uk
Recycle printer cartridges
You can also raise money for Leukaemia CARE by recycling used printer cartridges (but not Epson ones).
Why not encourage your work colleagues or school friends and family to collect them for us too by setting up a recycling box in a tea/common room. When it’s full, ring the Fundraising Line and we can arrange collection.
For every ink/toner cartridge that is recycled, Leukaemia CARE receives approximately £1.50. (This value varies depending on the brand of the cartridge.)
Cartridges that have been collected can be sent for recycling using a freepost envelope available from the fundraising team. Please call 0845 521 3456 or e-mail events@leukaemiacare.org.uk to request envelopes.
Recycle stamps
You can also collect used stamps to raise money!
For every kilo of stamps that is recycled, Leukaemia CARE receives a donation of £3 (if they are British stamps) or £13 (if they are foreign).
Please send your used stamps to:
Leukaemia CARE
Charity Stamp Support
46 Church Hill
Chorley
Lancashire
PR6 7LQ
Please ensure that Leukaemia CARE is clearly marked on the donation as many other charities also use this company. If possible, please send foreign stamps separately, with the envelope being clearly marked with ‘foreign stamps for Leukaemia CARE’.
If you are recycling for Leukaemia CARE and would like to tell other people, why not ring us for a poster or label for the front of your recycling box?
If you have any questions regarding recycling in aid of Leukaemia CARE, just call the Fundraising Team on 0845 521 3456.
