The theme for the competition is: ‘ My family – the people who CARE for me’.

2009 marks the charity’s 40th birthday and to celebrate, Leukaemia CARE is holding a school art competition from December 2008 to the end of June 2009.

Age categories: 5-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-11 years.

Leukaemia CARE is a national charity that provides care and support for adults and children, patients and families affected by a blood and lymphatic cancers. Leukaemia CARE exists to provide vital support to all those whose lives are affected. Quite simply ‘…supporting a quality of life’.

It is important that children understand their role and can feel confident in that unit in order to be prepared for whatever life throws at them. Leukaemia CARE can offer teachers and carers information, support and resources to help achieve this.
